Marshmallow Peppermint Frosting

Yield: Will frost a 13x9-inch cake

Ingredients

check water 2 tablespoons water

check granulated sugar 1/2 cup granulated sugar

check egg white, beaten stiff 1 egg white, beaten stiff

check marshmallow creme 3/4 cup marshmallow creme

check peppermint extract 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract

check Few drops red food coloring Few drops red food coloring

check Few grains salt Few grains salt

Directions:

Boil water and sugar together until the soft ball stage is reached (234 F. ). Slowly pour hot syrup over beaten egg white, beating constantly. Add marshmallow creme, extract, food coloring and salt; beat until cool.
