Candied Popcorn

Yield: 6 quarts

Ingredients

Add plain popped popcorn to shopping list 6 quart plain popped popcorn

Add light corn syrup to shopping list 3/4 cup light corn syrup

Add butter or margarine to shopping list 1/4 cup butter or margarine

Add water to shopping list 2 tablespoons water

Add (1 lb.) confectioners sugar to shopping list 4 cups (1 lb.) confectioners sugar

Add miniature marshmallows to shopping list 1 cup miniature marshmallows

Directions:

Place popcorn in a large roasting pan. In a 3 quart saucepan, combine corn syrup, butter, water, sugar and marshmallow; cook and stir over low heat just until mixture comes to a boil. Pour over popcorn and toss to coat. Cool. Store in an airtight container.
